Spray Tanning

Here at Gems, we use St Tropez Air, which is easy and quick to apply with no hands or contact and dries in just 10 mins.

Before your tan:

- Remove any unwanted hair by waxing 48 hours before or shaving the night before

- Exfoliate everywhere the night before

On the day of the tan:

- Make sure you don't use any deodorants, make up, moisturiser or perfume

- Bring loose, dark clothing to put on after tan and minimal footwear (flip flops)

Aftercare:

- Leave tan on for 8 hours before washing off. If you are sleeping in it overnight, do not worry after the 8 hours as it has stopped developing by then anyway

- Until the 8 hours are up, do not get your tan wet in anyway, including being careful with drinking

- Do not do anything strenuous after where you will be perspiring

- When you have showered, make sure you pat yourself dry and do not rub too harsh with a towel

- To keep your tan lasting longer, make sure you are moisturising daily and taking showers rather than soaks in a bath

- Avoid swimming if possible as it strips the tan quicker

- When your ready to remove the tan, have a long soak in the bath and then exfoliate everywhere to buff off tan

- If booking in as a bride/bridesmaid, we recommend having a trial tan before the actual wedding day
